High score changer
This hack uses: Unknown value scanning. In this tutorial you will learn how to hack caveman clock and make it to have unlimited time. In case you don't know what caveman clock is, it's something like this:
Now, open up THAW (and load the game!!), then select thaw process in the Cheat Engine. Well, the thing we are going to hack now is caveman clock. So what do you need to do? First you need to go to thaw (OFFLINE MODE, preferred in high score/free skate mode because you can actually pause the game there). Now do some tricks (not necessary) and make caveman clock appear and then quickly pause the game. The clock has to be nearly full (the more full it is, the easier it will be for you. Full clock is really not necessary!)
If you don't know what's the caveman clock, then here how it looks like:
OK now you got almost full or full caveman clock and have paused the game right? Now go to Cheat Engine and instead of using the normal Exact value scanning, we gonna use Unknown initial value. So choose it and click First Scan button.
Have you noticed that the bar where you used to put values is gone? Well, we won't need it. All we gonna use are hotkeys. After you pressed First Scan button you should get millions of values which is good. Now go to the game and use a bit of cavemans clock (let that blue thingy decrease once, or maybe twice (not recommended) and then pause the game. Press NumPad- and it may take a bit (1-10 seconds to scan) after scan is completed you will hear a sound (if you listen to loud music, you won't hear it). Don't go to cheat engine just yet, no use in there. Ok so after you scanned for decreased value by pressing NumPad- unpause the game and wait till clock decreases by 1 scale again then pause the game again and press NumPad-. Do it untill the clock has used all it's time and it's gone. Now start another fully (or almost fully) loaded clock and press pause. Then click NumPad+ because the clock value has increased. Then unpause the game again, let it go down again and press NumPad- because it decreased.
REMEMBER, IF THE CLOCK BLUE STUFF DECREASES THAT MEANS WE SCAN FOR DECREASED VALUE (AKA we press NumPad-) AND IF IT INCREASES (IT DOES WHEN YOU START THE NEW CLOCK, CAUSE BLUE STUFF IS FULL AGAIN) WE SCAN FOR INCREASED VALUE (AKA NumPad+). Now just keep scanning for like 5 clocks or so till you get like 10-70 addresses and now comes the hardest part. If you crash the game, you'll have to scan everything from the beginning again because the caveman clock address is dynamic (it changes every time you restart the game) So you have 4-70 addresses right? Now look at the screenshot below and look for the freeze checkboxes.
If you don't wanna crash the game, freeze 5 addresses at the time. After you froze them go back to game and check if caveman clock is still decreasing the blue stuff. If it is UNFREEZE the addresses that you froze and freeze another 5 (do the freezes from the bottom to the top, it's better). 3 things may happen:
1. Game will crash after you will try to check if caveman clock froze while in game.2. None of the addresses will be affecting caveman clock, which means you did a mistake while scanning.
3. The caveman clock will freeze which means that one of those 5 addresses are affecting caveman clock. Now go to cheat engine and unfreeze one of those addresses and go back to game, if the caveman clock is still frozen, then repeat till it's unfrozen. After you found out which address is good, then you did it! BUT, in this case everything you restart the game the address of caveman clock will change it's location. Now rename the name of the address so you know which one is the right one and right click on the address and choose "Find out what writes to this address"
Now UNFREEZE the good address and go to game. Let the clock decrease, but not till the end and press pause, go back to cheat engine and look, new things shows up.
If there is 1 thing, just click on it and click the replace button, and then when it says what name you want to give write caveman clock or something and that's it! You're done. If there are more than one of those things (they are called debugger registries) try guessing which one appeared when you did caveman (cause they appear even if you do flips in thaw ect). SAVE THE CHEAT TABLE, because you don't wanna do everything from the beginning, do you?
This whole step can be done in a minute or so.
Hope you made it.
