I'm trying to get Widescreen 16:9 on THUG 2. Before I continue, you might be thinking "Oh, ENunn I thought you had THUGPro and blah blah blah..." I do, I installed the normal THUG2 in a separate directory.

Anyways, I'm trying to get 16:9 and Hex Editors are confusing.

it's hard to locate file in Data\scripts\game\menu

and it was even harder to google "thug2 widescreen"

Unless you have a rip there isn't anything in the scripts directory other than qdir

I seemed to have found the file here \Game\Data\scripts\game\menu but still, its ANNOYING!! :|

By the way, I got THUG2 from your download thread.

You're looking in the wrong files, and there are still issues. The qbkeys are in gamemenu_options.qb, and it is the first instance. It does add the screen menu in-game, but with no options. Keep in mind that if you're using a retail version, you also have to NOP the scripts_qb.prx file or the game won't even look at the unpacked .qb files you're editing.

The best solution for widescreen in T2 is to replace the .exe with a modded one, especially if you're not using mods anyways and you're launching from the original .exe. Download this rar, and replace the default .exe with the one you want.
