black screen only get sfx thug/thug2

when i boot up either exe i just get a black screen and only the sfx running in the background, it was working a couple of days ago ive tryed system restore and that didnt work and ive uninstalled the beta driver for GPU and still nothing any other suggestions? ive now uninstalled the and restalled it plays fine once then back to black screen again and 2nd boot
