Is it possible to get THPS2 PC running in 32-bit color?

I was wondering if it is possible to get/hack THPS2 PC so it can run in 32-bit color?

So you tried to import mhpb maps in th2 and got wrong color msg? I think 16bit is hard coded there, so easier will be to mess with texture files.

...I meant running the game in 32-bit color instead of 16-bit color, this is nothing related to importing levels.

ok then but i dont see any sense in that since th2 uses 256 colored textures )) not a feature worth trying to... well that's just my opinion :P

This has nothing to do with textures, I'm taking about the game's display color depth.

It's doesn't matter that the max amount of colors that the textures can handle, it's the shading that would look smoother/better if it was higher.

ok if game will use 2bit textures will some care that it runs with 32 bit? the differrence is so small that you wont even find it. I personally dont want to waste a lot of time to have 32 instead of 16 (i think others here neither), much more interesting would be hacking for HD textures.

once again i dont say its impossible, but i doubt someone will do it

it seems that it does checks for available video modes, so you have to mess with exe. disasm it if it'll help u anyhow
