THPS2 PC fog problem

whenever i enter the hangar to play the game im surrounded by fog also tried playing around with the resolution widscreen hack pathcer no success there either any solutions for this problem? its sort of like the fog you get when you have a very low draw distance

im running:
windows 10 home
memory:8gb ram
video card: radeon RX480 4gb
cpu: amd fx 8350

set fogscale=500 in th2_opt.cfg

ok thanks i set max res in game and that has been working but i have to enter display controls each time i start up the game ill try changing the fog in cfg like you said thanks for getting back to me

and one more thing my skater seems to vanish only leaving me a shadow and no skateboard or character if i enter display controls and exit the probelm goes away til i start the game back up again then i repeat the same problem is this a recurring problem or is there a workaround other than what im doing atm?
