[XBOX360] THAW Modding Basics Help
Hey I'm Brendan but everyone calls me Brad. I've just finished searching through a couple dozens threads on the forums and I'm here to state that I know nothing about coding, modding, "file editing" or anything of the sort. I am not a lazy person and I would love to learn about it. I'm not looking for a teacher ( ) but more of a place to start.
I've been playing TH since THPS2 and I've loved the game tremendously and envied people who would get 1000m combos. When I recently purchased THAW for my 360, I accidently stumbled into a LIVE lobby and much to my surprise there was no shortage of players! That's when I knew I had to give this another go. So here I am. I know I'm not putting in much effort but any sort of help would be much appreciated.
Thanks! :]
(I want to make custom moves, and do things with my character that the game wouldn't normally allow. Maybe even some scale modification).

First things first you'll need a way to play the modifications, I'll assume you can already either play back-up disk or ftp the game to your XBOX360.
THAW uses .pak containers to hold data the only public tool for editing such files is Queen Bee this works for the 360 also.
cas_common.pak is the file to mod for unlimited scale and Queen Bee supports NaN (not a number) as a value.
qb_*.pak is the other file you'll want for adding new tricks, here's a thread showing how to add a manual trick via Queen Bee.
* = a letter indicating the language code.
Basically just do some searching through the forums and see what turns up if you still have questions just ask. But show effort on your part.

We do still enjoy playing the game and if you need to cheat to play a game PLAY SOMETHING ELSE YOU DON'T SUCK AT.

OR you could just do USB mods, they're a lot easier, you can use them online, and you don't need to JTag.
